Training for my first half marathon. I’ve got about four months. Any advice from experienced runners? Things you wished you knew before you ran your first marathon / half marathon?

I highly recommend dedicated stretching of psoas muscles bc if not you can easily strain your lower back from the repetition (esp if you also sit a lot for work) I made a video of the 5 min stretch routine that works for me. I start and end every day with it :) It’s very basic but I can send it to you if you want
