Some hypotheses:
- It’s a real headless brand in all the ways Nouns failed: low entry point, shared upside, beautiful aesthetic, no treasury / grant culture.
- There are no big expectations (no L3, no tipping, etc). Just aesthetics and cocreation.
- The supply is fully distributed, and no immediate pump at launch.

Some valid points here:
- nouns does need low entry/shared upside
- agree w treasury/grant culture point.   needs to evolve but don’t see it as a flaw (eg 8 fig movie production)
- to give “proliferate nouns” meaning *is* the task at hand, wip
- hard disagree on distribution. no inflation is a critical flaw imo

Edit: scratch “upside” from above. There is shared upside, just no low entry point atm (ie sub $1)

Where will this supply of higher come from so new participants can contribute and earn? Relying on the goodwill of the people to donate seems v fragile long term.

We don’t need inflation. Just buy in and get upside, or earn in HIGHER.

i don't think of it as a failure. i'd say nouns treasury/grants is at the edge of onchain native resource distribution. what i do agree w here is that it should feel less like a "grant" in the politicking sense and more like a fun way to earn. and we've made tons of progress on that since inception. more coming soon.

strongly disagree that there is no shared upside. it "just" requires work to be exposed to it.

There’s entry points that start at zero. I know — I came through that entry point. 

And disagree with a lot the original points here. An erc20 memecoin & nft/dao are totally different animals.
