Loot was (is?) an interesting experiment in composability and given its nature of being onchain, it wouldn’t surprise me if we see a resurgence in interest at some point.

Its legitimacy comes from being the first of its kind.

Whether any value would accrue to the original NFTs though, remains to be seen imo.

I was really intrigued at the time as they seemed an actual example of the fabled “composable Lego blocks,” but definitely a lot of speculation and rent-seeking in the price action.

I hope it gets picked up by someone someday, but then the question would be why pick it up rather than make something entirely new.

In hindsight Loot was an early signal that the top was coming.  Too much ETH was thrown at just random words.  It seemed intriguing at the time but it was just another gimmick to be hyped.

I recall there were lots of interpretations and visualizations being built on top of it, though I’ve lost track nowadays.

Would love for loot to make a come back into prominence, not just price wise, but in general. It was among the best of us.
