I’ve never understood the point of Duty Free shops. Nothing as far as I can tell is noticeably cheaper. Maybe stuff like cigarettes and liquor that I don’t buy? Don’t get it at all.

I always thought it was mostly a marketing stunt, the goal being to add a veil of luxury to a bottle of Chivas Regal.
