My wife constantly takes pics of the kid and asks me to take videos etc.

I don't mind, but I am not as enthused as her. And I barely look at those pictures again. 

Photos/Videos never appealed to me even before having a kid. I only like to snap a very candid picture that I think is special. Anything orchestrated makes me not want to do it.

Are dads (and in general men) more inclined to be this way vs moms?

I’ve learned the thing with kids is, the little person soon gets replaced with a big person, never to be seen again in real life.

Before kids I wasn’t big on taking pics, but now I’m grateful to have photos and videos, even of the mundane. Every expression is a treasure to me 📷
