Coinbase Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal posted on X, stating: "We have finally received an uncensored version of the OCP2.0 letter from the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation). This is an order from the court, but you can now read them below. This demonstrates a coordinated effort to prevent various cryptocurrency activities, from basic BTC trading to more complex products. Please note that the FDIC had previously stated that it had complied with earlier court orders, but miraculously found two more suspension letters in this search. @rdbuuvu

According to an official announcement, MicroStrategy has announced plans to raise up to $2 billion through the issuance of preferred shares, as part of its "21/21 Plan" aimed at raising $42 billion over three years (with equity and fixed income of $21 billion each). The purpose of this issuance is to allow MicroStrategy to continue strengthening its balance sheet and acquiring more Bitcoin. The issuance is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2025. The announcement states that the decision to continue and complete the issuance is at the discretion of MicroStrategy and is subject to market and other conditions. MicroStrategy may choose not to continue or complete the issuance. @rdrgsjuarez

Polymarket predicts that the probability of President elect Trump approving strategic Bitcoin reserves within his first 100 days in office will fall to 27%, lower than the high of 60% after Trump's election. At present, the bet amount for this event has exceeded 1.5 million US dollars. At the same time, other predictive markets expect Trump to eventually accept Bitcoin as a strategic reserve, joining the ranks of crude oil and gold. For example, Kalshi predicts that the probability of Bitcoin reserves occurring in January 2026 will reach 61% at one point, the highest since December 21, and currently fall back to 57%. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States recently proposed to uniformly expand the block and key length of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to 256 bits to meet the encryption needs under big data processing and quantum computing threats. The current AES uses 128 bit blocks and supports key lengths of 128, 192, and 256 bits. NIST states that increasing block and key lengths can help enhance the ability to counter quantum computing and ensure the security of encryption systems. Meanwhile, other quantum security schemes are being tested, including the post quantum cryptography experiment completed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Bank of France. Although the threat of quantum computing is still decades away, experts are calling for preparation for encryption systems. @tiffanykim
