If you are beginner, squats and dead lifts are going to be more than enough. If you've been doing this for a while, some common additions for me are lunges, calf raises, and good mornings to keep things spicy.

4 things to focus on legs: 1) knee extension: any kind of squatting movement basically; for quads 2) knee flexion: hamstring curls 3) hip hinge: deadlift movement; for hamstring as they can be trained with both hip and knee movement 4)calf raises: seated or standing; both trains different parts of the calves
