Need realistic tips for founder & single parent for getting enough sleep. Problem is falling asleep I normally sleep 6ish hours, the past 5 days around 5, this night 4.5. For sure gonna try to take a nap.

This is ongoing for me too. I recently got a piece of advice I had never heard. That was to get outside in sunlight (not through a window) before 11am for at least 30 minutes. Weather permitting, even if I can’t get out early for exercise I try to work outside for a bit in the am. Seems to help a bit.

Sunshine raises the seratonin (lowers the melatonin) which makes us feel good. At night it naturally lowers to help us sleep but… hence problems at night seem way worse because less happy hormone. Body is so clever.

Light also makes the body eliminate adenosine, which is a compound correlated with feeling sleepy.

Oooh off to look up adenosine. So fascinating how our biochemistry works (and we work against it so often!)
