Had a meeting with a major label A&R today - one of the best in electronic music that I deeply respect. Biggest takeaway is how massive these companies are and how many decades of culture and operational infrastructure they've built to exist at the scale they do. Left the building feeling extremely humbled and realizing how big of a gap there is for @cooprecs to be anywhere remotely in the same ballpark. I find this energy motivating - it challenges me to be really honest about where we're currently at and think logically about how to close that gap. If I left with one piece of hope - it's that all labels are constantly on the hunt for what's new and different and I believe our value prop is pretty compelling to the next generation of artists that will break in the next 5-10 years.

Dont let small mundane things bother you, don't resist to things so you can receive. Shit will happen, and you can change your perception. So, do it. Look at it from the bright side as your life is dependent on it, because it is. Image you are in a room and this room has many other windows and each window hows the world from a different pov. This is a daily practice since each small decisions and actions tied to something bigger. Yesterday determined today and today is going to determine tomorrow. Be mindful. Dont carry around old energies. Get to know yourself. Break the daily cycle as much as possible, get clear about what YOU want. Practice letting go.
