brother… 1 thing I dreaded about BS web2 companies and their offerings - a focus ONLY on user acquisition.

I don’t know if it makes sense financially, but don’t forget your OGs, early users and those sending payments monthly for a long time.

new users come and go, loyal users are here all the time.

it’s a benefit you offered to ppl you don’t know BEFORE offering anything to the ppl who support you.

I’m not saying not to do it, it’s a must for growth - just make sure you don’t end up like any lame telecom company, doing user acq at the expense of your current user base.

ps I mean, that’s something I’d do coz I noticed it happening many times - and the result is not pretty. In NFTs, the strongest communities were formed around the teams/projects that catered to their existing community.

totally a fair point, but from what I've noticed @woj.eth has done a pretty great job of treating his OG product users well in terms of prioritizing features they request, constantly getting feedback in the TG chat, and being transparent about his whole process with early SC adopters

I'm really just doing a quick experiment with this perk with /toc which initially is focused on acquiring new users for him but I don't think that takes away the fact that Woj has still been building for his power users first
