Ok so here's my latest plan to procrastinate: I will switch back to Windows as host OS, then run either Hyper-V or VMWare hypervisors. Linux VMs for personal stuff, another for nightjob stuff (coz you guys are always trying to hack me), a hot wallet VM and a cold wallet VM. Windows host for the GUI performance 🖖

but I appreciate the testing, it's mandatory in order to find the best possible setup. just that prolly most of us found an optimal solution, not THE ALL TIME BEST solution.

For me, after a certain age, almost nothing is too expensive. I can’t afford many things, but they’re not expensive. They deliver on their promise.

The time I put in troubleshooting win/linux was infinite more expensive than buying a mac. But I am not a dev, so my tech necessities are not that big…

Nah I don't have time, especially not to deal with problems. This setup will avoid problems. Macs are too expensive. Did have an iPhone 3G back in the day, though.
