Ok so here's my latest plan to procrastinate: I will switch back to Windows as host OS, then run either Hyper-V or VMWare hypervisors. Linux VMs for personal stuff, another for nightjob stuff (coz you guys are always trying to hack me), a hot wallet VM and a cold wallet VM. Windows host for the GUI performance 🖖

you have a lot of free time, Ryan, I give you that 🤣 but I appreciate the testing, it's mandatory in order to find the best possible setup. just that prolly most of us found an optimal solution, not THE ALL TIME BEST solution. I still wonder how you never used Macs. but hey, it's just a curiosity - not an opinion

There are too many wallet thieves these days 😂 When using many VMs, there is a risk that virtual operating system files could get corrupted. Is there a way to back them up separately? I also use VMs and back up the originals once a week, but this method seems very inefficient. 😅

Ummm... 😬 Here is an unsolicited advice: Any Linux desktop is highly customizable, so if GUI is your only problem, it's easier (and easy!) to tune them, then run a bunch of VMs. Do you know YouTube channel LinuxScoop? Amazing way to procrastinate, too :D

Honestly I will not touch windows even with a 3m pole. Everytime I ran my win desktop there was samething to update or fix. Lost to much time and files to go back to windows. Sticking to linux & docker
