Ok so here's my latest plan to procrastinate: I will switch back to Windows as host OS, then run either Hyper-V or VMWare hypervisors. Linux VMs for personal stuff, another for nightjob stuff (coz you guys are always trying to hack me), a hot wallet VM and a cold wallet VM. Windows host for the GUI performance 🖖

you have a lot of free time, Ryan, I give you that 🤣 but I appreciate the testing, it's mandatory in order to find the best possible setup. just that prolly most of us found an optimal solution, not THE ALL TIME BEST solution. I still wonder how you never used Macs. but hey, it's just a curiosity - not an opinion

Nah I don't have time, especially not to deal with problems. This setup will avoid problems. Macs are too expensive. Did have an iPhone 3G back in the day, though.

For me, after a certain age, almost nothing is too expensive. I can’t afford many things, but they’re not expensive. They deliver on their promise. The time I put in troubleshooting win/linux was infinite more expensive than buying a mac. But I am not a dev, so my tech necessities are not that big…
