Interesting! What are are the other explorers they suggest? I assume this is because you can host a blockscout instance for not much compared to what I’ve heard Etherscan contracts can cost.

etherscan charging $10s of millions per deployment is likely a big reason but I don't think it's the most important one

I just want people who have been telling me that Etherscan permanently secured the bag to not give up so fast. You can take on the single largest player in any space with OSS and enough drive , determination & optimism

Yeah agree with this, I do think that OSS devs should get compensated for the value they’re adding into the space though. I know Blockscout offer hosted service so hope that is a good enough model for them.
