potentially hot take (and i'm guilty of this too, i've done it, and now i will try to no longer do it): the more i see "answer my generic question and i'll tip you in degen" the more it feels like "i'll pay you to be my friend" energy

Im a huge culprit of this lol!! Tbh I just want a quick way to distribute my degen to a large amount of people with low effort on both ends and no bias. Open to different ideas on how to tweak 😊

what's stopping you from asking the same question and tipping w/o saying you'll tip in degen? by proactively incentivizing an action that doesn't need to be incentivized, it makes the answers and engagement feel inauthentic to me

Why no bias? I think we should be biased when we give tips. Give tips to people you want to stick around.

Why no bias? If it's totally unbiased, why would anyone try to interact in a meaningful way? Some content really is more deserving of tips and engagement. Having an allowance is a big responsibility. If you just want to offload it, just tip 5% to the first 20 posts you see on your feed and call it a day.
