People often think about what they can do and achieve, and performance art becomes this thing where people do incredible complex things, such as Maria Abramovićs walk across the Great Wall, or Yoko Ono’s singing. I tried to think about the opposite of what they could do, that would universally relate to everyone.

This performance is incredibly boring, monotonous, and tied to feelings of being stuck in a loop in what appears a lot of light. I imagine this person stuck in their bed forever and in a lot of pain - contrasting between the comfortable bed, and intrusive thoughts.

I bought a tripod and recorded it on my iPad. Then I had to get into a headspace and be concious of my movements, to make myself incredibly still. I edited it in some free movie editor and uploaded it to YouTube. I think it’s as boring as watching paint drying. So there’s a bit of humour!

Nice, nice, nice. I recently read Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman and the author mentions an art professor whose first student assignment is to choose an artwork and go look at it, without doing anything else, for three full hours I don't know why but this made think of that
