This month and last month's revenue for /humankind! Now that I've been in business for 7~ months, I have more data on what drives revenue and what doesn't. Here's what I've learned:

1. It's hard being a solo founder. January accounts for the post x-mas dip, and April was the month I was preparing for FarCon (my largest order, 70 candles+). Apr was particularly difficult because I had to make more investments in infrastructure, like my scientific thermometer and industrial baking rack.

3. Degen candles were not a success. I got 2 orders, and the chain was down for a few days. I campaigned for about 2 weeks before calling it. The community isn't as familiar with me and I'm guessing that the avg degen hodler is too financially different from my regular ICP. Good experiment nonetheless.

4. Probably one of my largest learnings is understanding how I can build ongoing customer evangelism so I can focus on corporate gifting (B2B sales). FarCon led to a spike in sales, but I want customers longer term and more engaged. One-off projects are great for awareness, but retention is TBD.

If I can add an additional data point as a consumer: I'm still working through my FarCon candle, so I couldn't justify the expense of what seemed to be a similarly-sized candle. Dunno if a smaller candle or bundle of smaller candles would have pulled me in. Not sure if they would even be economically feasible, either.
