Warpcast is giving out $5 each day to the top 100 casters.  

Rewards are given based on the amount of engagement your casts get divided by the number of active followers you have. 

We'll run this experiment through the end of the year to see if it drives people to create more interesting content for Farcaster.

I wondered if it rewarded those who were already being rewarded with engagement. I imagine what I'd want to incentivize isn't for the top people to succeed more but for *more* people to do better in terms of engagement. But it's an easier experiment in execution to reward the top than to try and reward the mid-tier to see if they are encouraged to become the top.

Regardless, curious how it plays out.
