It’s hard for me to agree that giving low and middle income people a few thousand dollars disproportionately caused this level of inflation.

That’s not where the money went though. Most of the money printed during COVID went to banks, corporations, and billionaires. Low and middle income people got scraps in comparison.

Agreed. But that's the narrative that we are being sold when we blame the COVID dollars for ramping up inflation.
