Let's blame grocery stores for inflation rather than the $5 trillion in printed money during covid. Politicians assume we're dumb. We're not dumb we're buying crypto.

Isn’t it both? The vast majority of corporations raised prices under the guise of inflation.

sure, but i mean it's so disproportionately one over the other it's barley worth mentioning the other - unless you're trying to delude people and abdicate your responsibility as a politician

What percentage would you say was caused by covid relief policies compared to corporate greed? It’s hard for me to agree that giving low and middle income people a few thousand dollars disproportionately caused this level of inflation.

That’s not where the money went though. Most of the money printed during COVID went to banks, corporations, and billionaires. Low and middle income people got scraps in comparison.

It’s totally fine to give money to low and middle income people you just have to pay for it by raising taxes. If you just print money instead it causes inflation of assets and consumer prices. This is basic governance we all used to understand.
