ETF hasn't happened yet so unless you're leverage trading that event, not sure why this is "nightmare". To me, nightmare is when Meta releases an L2, integrates it into Whatsapp, and drives all new entrants to their rollup.

First time I read about the warrant canary being removed from their GitHub three weeks ago. A bit disturbing that it went under the radar. My cope scenario is that the SEC simply needs answers from the EF in order to evaluate the ETF applications, and that this is an information request rather than an investigation

Agree. It is a nightmare scenario. But given the SEC's terrible track record winning in court, the passage of the Bitcoin ETFs, and the sanction against the SEC... Our odds are pretty good of this coming to nothing.

Sounds like Bankless should rally Bankless US citizens to contact their gov’t representatives to try and build a wave of political will in front of this gambit - if these rumors are reasonably accurate.
