imagine if instead of delivering an Ethereum ETF Gensler delivers a lawsuit against the Ethereum Foundation claiming ETH is a security

ETF hasn't happened yet so unless you're leverage trading that event, not sure why this is "nightmare".

To me, nightmare is when Meta releases an L2, integrates it into Whatsapp, and drives all new entrants to their rollup.

Would you think they pass the tornado cash/Railway test?

Would they allow a private cryptographic transfer system on their chain? Would they allow bridge transactions from addresses that interact with those products?

Great for bags but I wouldn't use it.

Why would this Meta scenario be a nightmare? An L2 is an L2, as long as it rolls up to Ethereum L1, it’s still a win for Ethereum, no?
