Wow. When i post here I get actual conversation compared to twitter where all i get is dunking and shilling. Let me try a harder one... Is Solana overvalued relative to L2s & chains like Tron that have much more usage?

When I’m thinking abt value, it is less raw # of users and more: (1) concentration of dev talent/activity (2) number of interesting/powerful dapps (3) institutional adoption (4) integrity of tech infrastructure (5) uniqueness of value prop Even though I don’t love Solana, it feels canonical by these metrics

I think we are underestimating the value of some the de-pin infrastructure that’s being built on Solana. That type of infrastructure can bring real value to a system and it’s something we should be paying attention to

I’m not sure about Solana, but one thing I’m thinking recently is that blockchain scaling trilemma is now IMO: decentralization, security and fragmentation. Monolithic chains of course have less fragmentation of all solutions.

I think usage doesn't drive price as much as we would like. Solana being an incumbent, having more mindshare and possibly being an L1 so it's not tied to a chain like L2s, so its value is more clear & singular. L2s will have to wait for the next bull run to gain market share & value that then solidified their utility

Solana has a narrative going for it, and that can spur popular apps and more Tron-level usage by the next bull run That being said, I definitely prefer L2s and think at least a couple of them are UNDER valued right now
