Every time I take a break and come back to X, the timeline is unbearably toxic: too many salty comments and people either whining or attacking each other... Maybe the people I follow have taken a bad turn and I should clean up my following, but here I find a pleasant environment close to my interests. X is like a huge public square, while FC feels like a cozy place where you almost feel at home.

They suck. Absolutely not. Same thing happened when degen exploded and CT opportunists came to grift. Some are pragmatic about it, came to build a position and grow. Plenty others were pure extraction, left, and will remain dependent on X forever. Whatever that entails for them 🤢

I had this discussion with @wake.eth recently. how do u scale wo the toxicity? Is scaling to the size they say good in practice or only in theory? I think if you bring people in slowly, organically, maybe u could teach them new ways. But unlikely. So many trolls, so many scams. Reddit seems to work bc it's more channel based. Maybe as FC follows that path it can become more workable? I dunno, too big brained for me 😂
