I'd flip the question around and ask if we want all of those people here. Half the comments to Jason's question read as insufferably entitled. It's going to be Reddit in 2010 (when Digg imploded) all over again.

I had this discussion with @wake.eth recently. how do u scale wo the toxicity? Is scaling to the size they say good in practice or only in theory? I think if you bring people in slowly, organically, maybe u could teach them new ways. But unlikely. So many trolls, so many scams. Reddit seems to work bc it's more channel based. Maybe as FC follows that path it can become more workable? I dunno, too big brained for me 😂

imo reddit works /barely/ -- it's built on web2's "free labor" paradigm, same thing that powers wikipedia's benevolence. reddit looks healthy because of censorship, mostly. varies by channel ofc. (i am a high ranking, long time redditor and former/ current mod).
