Yes this is the way here. It's called being a reply guy. Checkout /replyguys . It is partly a result of the decentralized nature of things here where Merkle (the Farcaster and Warpcast builders) went a bit hardcore on the anti-spam measures to the extent that you can only pretty replyguy until you get social proof from established users.

Not so much ghost banned... Farcaster is decentralized, different clients have different rules. Warpcast is the popular guy in town, and their rules basically put you below "show more replies" unless the reader follows you. Yes it's all very circular and confusing. We've also been through "active badges" and "power badges" etc and it's all about to change again with channels being reworked.

Maybe follow @pichi and join one of her state of the Farcaster union calls to find out more and make friends.
