I wish the people who actually knew how these things worked would document them clearly for all to know.

Speculation is such a frustrating thing because you never know if what you are doing (or not doing) is going to "hurt" you.

@rjs is great at reverse engineering these things. I wonder if he has any insight here.

Still curious about whether overflowing your storage for reactions is going to hurt your Degen rank. There seems to be conflicting info/opinions there.

I did add a section on storage in my V7 FAQ, but note the story will change now for season 5. TL;DR in season 5 reactions can affect your engagement score, which affects your rank, but it's OTHER people's reaction storage (since they're reacting to you), not yours that is the issue (unless you're the reactor)

2️⃣ The new criteria regarding the value of this "Quality" in the casts were leaked; and are next:

🔸Mentions = 12
🔸Answers = 6
🔸Recasts = 3
🔸New followers = 1
🔸Likes = 1

Keep in mind that bot profiles are not taken into account ❌

This one I'm particularly curious about with Mentions being rated so highly. I know on X that tagging a bunch of people was generally seen as annoying and spammy, so is it really something that the new system will reward and encourage?
