can we use data to flip the question:

- it's hard to get over [300k] mc
- assuming your goal is that long tail, what common characteristics can be targeted? e.g., is it more large holders or fewer

another data question:
- what economics go to deployers at the 10% percentile? 
- at the 25th?
- at [300k] mc?

Hard data could nudge user behavior. E.g., if they see 100x+ returns for diamond-handing and putting in the work for the long haul

So this is the MC *today* of all Clankers with at least 100 trades. I think there was actually a second Clanker contract for anon stuff, but I've not bothered with it.

I was curious about Clanker memecoin market cap numbers:
- how many minutes before the typical memecoin trends down without recovery?
- what is the MC for the typical memecoin, what's the lower and upper quartile look like?

Dune can't do box & whisker plots, and struggles with more data points (last 7 days, 1st 240 minutes of the token's life) but you can still get the jist by looking at this:
- 3rd quartile Clankers peak after 8 minutes, the median one peaks after 1-2 minutes
- vast majority of clankers won't exceed 75k, and the median clanker won't go higher than 50k

Yeah, the few I have bought into have been losses so far. They aren’t dead and might get some attention again enough that maybe I can get closer to breaking even, but overall I should just stick to the coins with real fundamentals.
Less likely to 100x that way but still profits to be made on any move up!

On one hand $bug has come way down from its peak, on the other hand it's still over 300k mc after a week of red. 🎅🤖🐛

Quick Midweek $OIL Update as I wrap up a bit of office work before shifting to harvest mode on the farm for the afternoon.

Community Challenge #6 is underway - see /fcof for the details

Initial WETH fees from Proxy were received yesterday and will be distributed to Whales and Tycoons tonight and tomorrow (snapshot was taken yesterday AM).

Initial $OIL fees (~1.3B barrels or 1.3% of the supply) will either be burned or locked into a very, very long term contract - more on this as a discussion with the community tonight - decision and action will be made this weekend.  Either way the $OIL received from proxy fees will be removed from circulation.

I intend to purchase a few more barrels of $OIL in the coming days as my vision for our future crystallizes a bit, giving folks advance notice.

Also, slated for sometime this week will be a FAQ/Explainer cast which will allow folks to catch up and share a little bit more about the intention behind $OIL and the /fcof as well as glimpse of the future.
