Tried to onboard people to crypto / Base / ETH over the weekend at a wedding with different levels of success. 

Will dive deeper into the results but there was one overwhelming theme. 

“Isn’t that all a scam” 

How do we fix this overall sentiment towards crypto?

Right so why hasn't anybody been able to update that sentiment? Because there's no utility yet for normies.

Nah not really, it is just a sentiment of frustration from misunderstanding or bad experiences with bad actors. It is not that people fully understand what is happening neither

onboarding is real but feels like they need to have that aha moment from something that they see as real

I was mentioning to some people what @balajis.eth talked about at permission less with having onchain attestation for voting allowing the possibility for politics to move away from a 2 party system in the US and they loved it and understood why crypto was needed for it
