The limiting factor for Farcasterā€™s growth is the supply of high-quality interesting / entertaining organic content. Most people who are focused on creating content optimize for networks with large existing audiences because while hard to break through, the upside is massive. Solve for X.

ā€œJust pay content creators to post on Farcasterā€ Top content creators realize any direct payment will be small and short-term relative to compounding value of a large audience on an at-scale network. Monetization through distribution, eg launch a brand, angel investing, etc. So you run into an adverse selection problem. The people who are interested in getting paid by a sub-scale network vs. playing the game on hard mode.

Don't many top content creators start small? I know some of the seemingly small-time content creators are actually funded by media corps hiding in the background, but not all of them. If you accept the premise that you can't attract the top content creators then maybe you could focus on the niche of nurturing small-time creators that could become top content creators, who then attract users to the platform through cross pollination e.g. via YT or Twitch. As a small-time creator, I love frames and wish for them to support more interactive features e.g. click events, dynamic audio and graphical updates (I understand the security challenges, but maybe audio and GIF streams are a tactical solution). Then I can produce inline interactive educational content. I think artists would use this capability too, and probably others.
