I think the “Farcaster is too nice” take stems from a confusion of thoughtfulness for niceness, and the clear dearth of both on the bird app.

Does anyone think FC is too nice? I asked a question about this recently and no one seems to feel that way. I wonder if it is possible to have a network of that scale that remains thoughtful and nice. What would be needed to achieve that?

Unlikely for a mass market network. High density populations have greater competition and lower politeness. Trust is concentrated instead of democratized. India and Bangladesh are good examples
