We're strongly considering winding down narrowcasting. It's consistently less than 1% of all casts in channels.

yeah there's def some casts I think would work better as narrow casts, just that not enough people are using it like that for some reason e.g. customer support questions for a company that can be casted in the company's channel where employees see it

that isn't quite the case here i don't see groups more segregated than channels i'd rather dm than narrow cast

DMing means you’re blocked till an individual sees your question. Narrowcasting to a company channel means 1. You don’t broadcast to your followers (which I imagine is what you want?) 2. Any employee from the company can respond meaning you get unblocked faster

The aim of narrowcasting is to reach a specific individual or group of individuals yeah?, so your followers don't really matter my thought process was why narrowcast to one individual when you can just DM but i also understand what you mean
