No one complains that there aren’t any “killer consumer apps” on TradFi rails. So why do we focus so much on this for crypto?

They are financial apps and also consumer

Stock trading existed on Schwab and Fidelity apps before robinhood came along

Robinhood was consumer enough that stock trading became mainstream and meme stocks took shape

Interesting, I would consider those financial apps, not consumer apps

Also: depends on the expected outcomes. If crypto is just meant to be ACH2.0, used by companies and government entities, it's not a big deal. If it's meant to disintermediate, be used by real people, fulfill many of the promises that have been made about crypto, then yeah it's a problem.

Robinhood non crypto? It's question. I saw quest with @layer3xyz, but I can't load it.

Robinhood was actually somewhat ‘killer’ bc they allowed retail to buy fractional shares like never before. 

Just like how rwa will allow retail to buy fractionalized portions of large assets 👀🤟

I think ‘killer’ is very subjective tho.
