No one complains that there aren’t any “killer consumer apps” on TradFi rails. So why do we focus so much on this for crypto?

but there are though, right? PayPal, Venmo, Cash app, Apple Pay, Robinhood (originally no crypto)

Interesting, I would consider those financial apps, not consumer apps

They are financial apps and also consumer Stock trading existed on Schwab and Fidelity apps before robinhood came along Robinhood was consumer enough that stock trading became mainstream and meme stocks took shape
