i believe that $hackathon is a big idea and has lots of potential because of that, and to safeguard my personal integrity and mental peace i did not -and won’t- buy any of it i don’t want my finances to be tied to its potential. i want to be able to help develop the project without that noise freedom > money

i can't stop thinking about something: i want to have 3 farcaster native projects sponsors per week. and i want orbiter to be one of the sponsor of the first week the prize being "one year of orbiter" for free for the winner wdyt? cc @stevedylandev.eth if you like the idea -absolutely not hard feelings if you dont- which are the other 2 projects you want to see next to orbiter?

N = 12 sounds good as prize money but, somewhat counterintuitively, it's actually bad for everyone involved it reduces urgency - if you have something that's valid for 12 months, you can delay starting the work by a few months because you still have 6 months remaining after that what you want is for the experimentation to start immediately. the ideal way to do this is to have N = 2 and if there's usage those two months, it automatically gets extended for the next two months and so on for a total of 12 months however, if there's no usage, then it automatically gets cancelled after that 2 month period; you snooze you lose

i love it and agree. but tell me how to display that into a nice little infographic loool. i feel that people are much more motivated when there is something that is "a year free" at least it sounds compelling. and in this case the important part is the message behind "farcaster native projects" more than the practical aspects of the prize imo since there will be only one winner, i could manage this "snooze and lose" functionality to the prize directly with that winner. i will be clear about it, and what winning this prize means in terms of conviction. it can eventually be a badge of honor imho... if this gathers traction eventually
