hot take: anon people with “hot takes” are the most beta of beta energy. sharing a strong POV takes a lot more courage when there is reputational, social, and financial capital on the line — and rarely is that ever the case when one is anon.

idk, anon posting can sometimes be more pure without being tainted with doxxed neurosis of image control and narcissism. yes anons have nothing to lose – but also nothing to gain. so to make a statement as such enables less performative filtering on the take. public figure hot take pandering is pretty beta (⌒_⌒;)

not totally true because an anon can always choose to not be, where as you cannot easily change or reconstruct a real identity

yes i think that was my point. anon creates an expanded space where an ossified real id may not be able to function due to external factors like societal norms and pressure https://warpcast.com/riotgoools/0xd0cc575c

think we’re on two different waves, I am talking about a real identity becoming (famous) by original posts under themselves vs 10 trial and error anons where the last and most successful chooses to self dox- no risk but definitely upside in this case
