hot take: anon people with “hot takes” are the most beta of beta energy. sharing a strong POV takes a lot more courage when there is reputational, social, and financial capital on the line — and rarely is that ever the case when one is anon.

idk, anon posting can sometimes be more pure without being tainted with doxxed neurosis of image control and narcissism. yes anons have nothing to lose – but also nothing to gain. so to make a statement as such enables less performative filtering on the take. public figure hot take pandering is pretty beta (⌒_⌒;)

not totally true because an anon can always choose to not be, where as you cannot easily change or reconstruct a real identity
