The Olympics felt more washed this year

Like a grand tradition that doesn’t quite live up to its past years’ glory

Thinking it might be correlated with the general breakdown of the current world order, and may be yet another signal of a rearrangement to come

Is it just me, or anyone else feel this vibe?

watching specific races and events was definitely dope af. i think this feeling may come from not having a big television-centric experience with it where are all experiencing it concurrently.

also, if you look back to the china olympics, they just put on a much grander show. the opening ceremonies of past olympics, even vintage ones, are much grander than what france put together.

This is a good point - distribution has changed and the watching experience feels less cohesive
