I saw a comedian’s real the other day. He was talking about mindfulness and how back in our day, you’re waiting for the bus… mindfulness. Waiting for a friend… mindfulness because there was no phone to fill those moments. It was really funny. That’s what prompted my conversation with Kai. He didn’t get the joke because he never lived that experience and the difference in life now.

Yeah I remember that and sometimes think about all the "spare time" I had back then.

It really is. Unfortunately I think my son tuned out to my “back in my day” story but I’m hoping one day he understands how important doing nothing is.

Sometimes I asked myself how I get my beautiful girls…
If I turn back the hands of time… I want them to be there with me but not possible….
