Preferred alternative? (Genuinely looking for options.)

Of the several other options I am in, I prefer Geneva Homes and Clubhouse Houses. Geneva has more formats/features built in, but CH is rolling out new features every week. Both have some version of token-gating as well.

I’ll give them a try. Any thoughts on how they are/would be received by users at large? Aim is web3 natives but friendly enough to onboard web2 folks in time. Discord might be a pain but at least it’s familiar beyond our decentralised wonderworld.

Hardest part for all of them is requiring a new app download. That’s a big friction point for a community. Clubhouse most likely to have brand awareness/some active users. Geneva=most approachable. It has an intranet feel. Some people refer to it as cozy. I discovered it a couple years ago through beauty communities.

I kept hearing about it from marketing people in that industry. Really robust for native functionality. Even more than Discord. Less bot programming though. Not sure if that is intended or just less of a dev community over there.
