There's an unbelievably massive divergence in vibes between my IRL friends and my terminally-online crypto friends Most of my IRL frens lean liberal and are acting like the world is imploding... they're psychologically rekt, scared and angry Meanwhile, crypto frens feel free at last and are utterly captivated by what's happening in tech, space, AI, etc. Honestly, never felt so bipolar/started questioning my own sanity so deeply But under all the political strife, the economic weirdness, and the bizarre philosophical questions that AI is forcing us to confront lies one simple fact: technological change continues to accelerate The battle is no longer left vs. right... this generation's war = technologists vs humanists/luddites

yeah, the shellshock nature of folks on the left right now is palpable and it definitely impacts their day to day from my experience. been an interesting few months to say the least. kinda wonder at what point do we reach a stabilization if at all regarding sentiment toward current leadership in the states from the left. was talking with one of our state reps the other day, discussing upcoming legislation and he mentioned he was a bit worried most of the energy would be directed toward bills reacting to Trump and federal changes; leaving little energy for other legislation.

Agreed... I feel like the left is going to be reactionary, and they have lost direction/leadership. Need someone to step up who both embraces tech and supports social programs (which I think will be forced to EXPAND as AI starts eroding jobs)... biggest talking point in the next election could end up being UBI
