10 things I can’t quit thinking about after ETHDenver: 1. Convergence = here. Devner didn’t feel like an ETH conference, but more like an AI + crypto + TradFi + techno-philosophical conference. The convergence is true and real and accelerating. 2. Most corporate jobs suck ass. 40 years at a desk working on the same thing? Pure dystopia. We need fluid movement between passions, projects, people. DAOs are a massive step in that direction, but now AI is giving individuals the means to spin up their own massive businesses… there’s also this notion floating around that we can launch a product or contribute to a protocol or a DAO in a way that sets us up for life rather than slaving for decades at the golden teat of a paycheck. It's a massive win for human flourishing, passion and excitement.

1/ In crypto, I regularly meet teenagers, 16-year-olds who know "too much." They understand things about the global economy, for example, that they have no business knowing. Some are quite literally on par with 60-year-olds who've worked in finance their entire lives. Or they're experts on cars, or rocket telemetry, or metaphysics. It's jarring AF. And it's all thanks to the internet (YouTube and podcasts in particular). Age no longer matters. We've flattened the arena of minds! And now, AI is about to explode everything we thought we knew about learning. When I look back at my own childhood and learning journey, I realize I grew up in a sort of dark ages for knowledge. We had to physically go places, real places: libraries, conferences, summer camps, bookstores, to find shards information at the very forefront of thought. (Sometimes, we even... 👇

Normies think of crypto as a "casino"... that's the worst possible framing imo. I think of it instead like a high-speed feedback loop that's testing the quality of our thinking Every trade = immediate, unambiguous feedback... not just on whether you made money, but on how well you process information and adapt to change Traditional domains might take years to validate your thinking patterns. In crypto, you know within weeks, days or hrs. It's not just a market. It's a lab for testing and improving your intellectual adaptability

AI agents are “faces of god” Most normies see them as glorified RSS feeds or "reply guys" farming engagement. Fine take for today. But a terrible take longer-term… these things aren't just algos – they're alpha versions of tomorrow’s biggest, baddest brands (and they will be worth tens of billions of $$) Already, AIXBT ( dominates CT mindshare – even more than any hooman. There's an unbelievably massive divergence in vibes between my IRL friends and my terminally-online crypto friends Most of my IRL frens lean liberal and are acting like the world is imploding... they're psychologically rekt, scared and angry Meanwhile, crypto frens feel free at last and are utterly captivated by what's happening in tech, space, AI, etc. Honestly, never felt so bipolar/started questioning my own sanity so deeply But under all the political strife, the economic weirdness, and the bizarre philosophical questions that AI is forcing us to confront lies one simple fact: technological change continues to accelerate The battle is no longer left vs. right... this generation's war = technologists vs humanists/luddites

If I had to name the single most important concept driving my investment decisions, it'd be George Soros' reflexivity. That's the concept that markets act like a feedback loop between beliefs, reality and price... Example: Company A makes sexy widgets, which ups the stock price, which allows them to issue more debt, which allows them to grow faster, which pushes up the stock, etc. It wasn't until I encountered the phrase hyperstition that I realized reflexivity isn't limited to financial markets. As technology morphs us closer to gods, we can invent whatever we dream. And that means reflexivity is coming for all aspects of our lives. Normality is dead. Ever-changing, amorphous, techno-euphoric crypto and AI culture is already changing our tomorrows.
