If I had to name the single most important concept driving my investment decisions, it'd be George Soros' reflexivity. That's the concept that markets act like a feedback loop between beliefs, reality and price... Example: Company A makes sexy widgets, which ups the stock price, which allows them to issue more debt, which allows them to grow faster, which pushes up the stock, etc. It wasn't until I encountered the phrase hyperstition that I realized reflexivity isn't limited to financial markets. As technology morphs us closer to gods, we can invent whatever we dream. And that means reflexivity is coming for all aspects of our lives. Normality is dead. Ever-changing, amorphous, techno-euphoric crypto and AI culture is already changing our tomorrows.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but launching your own L1 should be the last possible resort (and it should be reserved exclusively for world-changing moonshots). Seriously. Projects struggle to get twitter followers and they still think they're somehow going to get stablecoins, bridge integrations, new wallets, devs, users, apps, etc. on an L1? That's a one-way ticket to depression, alcoholism and the contraction of strange viruses after poor life choices

Human influencers spend brainpower & lifeforce (aka time) to produce insights AI influencers spend electricity & compute In other words: humans spend finite resources (which get more "expensive" as they age). Meanwhile, AI spends infinite resources (which grow cheaper)

Tokenized agents = humankind’s first opportunity to “own” intelligence In the past, you got what your DNA gifted you. If you wanted more, you had to rent it from other humans by paying them a salary Now you can quite literally own a piece of AI. Available IQs are currently low, of course, but the trajectory is clear 📈

Clanker @clanker, Bankr @bankr and other AI bots coming to life on farcaster making me realize just how different of a beast decentralized social media is If farcaster is the blockchain, the bots are smart contracts... unlike DeFi txs, which require careful precise messages, you can use natural language to accomplish your goals biggest critique is txs are fundamentally public (not private), but that leads to composability that isn't possible elsewhere
