I’m vegan. Enough protein for general health is easy, trying to maximize performance requires every meal being pretty protein focused. Tofu/tempeh/seitan, protein fortified milk and cereal, 1-2 scoops of protein powder most days. Nuts and legumes aren’t enough usually

You can have a high protein diet without meat but you’ll need to be intentional about eating high protein sources and might need to supplement with protein powder If I don’t have something high protein in a meal I’ll have a little protein snack

Protein is not a problem when you are plant-base. I don’t know who started that lie i have never seen a protein deficient person that at least 5 meals a week. Macro nutrition is another funny topic because most meat eaters also are deficient in a lot of areas. Most have very limited meals.
