i should reiterate: 1. i have huge respect to both @jacek and @deployer and believe they know what's the best for their users, much better than i do 2. i'm obviously biased since supercast wallet will be a frontend over these apps and it's in my best interest for them to be as interoperable as possible 3. i'm pro innovation and pro people doing whatever they want — but if you want your app to be easily accessible to majority of farcaster users, you should just launch on base also: some of you have really no idea what you are talking about, what the fuck are these replies

These are great takes, especially for making Farcaster more accessible for early builders and users. And the infrastructure to make multi-chain work is simply not there. However, I personally feel it's BAD to create the perception that FARCASTER == BASE. This is simply not true. We have Arbitrum, Polygon, and other EVM chains building applications on Farcaster. Shoot, we even have some Solana applications building on Farcaster. This is good. We need this. Bring on the alt L1s, non-EVM L2s, and niche L3s! All of crypto wins if the most successful social network in Web3 is multi-chain. Side Note: This is not shade to Base L2. The perception that Farcaster is/should be exclusively Base is mostly deserved because that team, and Jesse in particular, has been relentless at gaining adoption here. Oh, and the founders are former Coinbase employees, lol.
