Ok, it’s happening… I have to admit it. 🤭 I’m starting to be addicted to strength training. It was just two weeks ago I celebrated my first 1000 kg volume in one session and today I’m almost at 2500 kg

*mentions something like "you'd do more volume if you ever trained legs" but nobody wanted to hear it*

I’m a skinny runner. I ran 60 km a week. I need some muscles in the upper body… I’m not skipping leg days 😅

Do you feel like running makes your legs stronger? I don't run much; half that on a treadmill usually. Some rucking.. Feels like it improves my endurance but not neccesarily strength and certainly not mass. Everybody's different I suppose.

I'm an half marathoner, not a sprinter. my legs don't need to be too strong. I don't focus on hypertrophy. but I can say that all my "gym friends" envy my calves 😜 so I do strength training to cover my upper body bones with something that can be called muscles 😅 to answer you question. I've been running for 12+ years and I can say that muscles mass in the legs is the best part of my body, so yes, imho running increases muscle mass.
