Why is the food in most of the Europe so terrible? And the service with it. I got so spoiled in California.

Eaten in all but Lisbon and not struggled for decent food before. Not been to any of them for a few years, though. Sad times if standards are slipping.

I lived in Barcelona and Berlin before. The food was never outstanding. The issue are fresh ingredients. Hard to come by. Just had some amazing food yesterday here in Stockholm though.

👌 Chances are my holiday brain upgrades the experiences. Living someplace obvs gives you a better view. I’m way more critical at home here in London and whilst historically we’ve not had a great food reputation there are gems to be had.
