Why is the food in most of the Europe so terrible? And the service with it.

I got so spoiled in California.

Italy and France is fantastic. The rest is atrocious.

I love Cali food, especially the organic farm to table spots. But Italy, Tuscany in particular, have outstanding spots using fresh ingredients straight from the back of their house. Service in US has been better than Europe for me too, but Bali takes the cake on this one!

Opposite to my experience too. I went to some decent restaurants in the US, but that was the exception, and when you factor in the price it’s often comical 😃 Bologna or San Sebastian are basically food paradise capitals IMO

Service, fair point. But food? Where have you been eating? I’m sorry for you - this has been the very opposite of my experience!
