Why is the food in most of the Europe so terrible? And the service with it.

I got so spoiled in California.

Service, fair point. But food? Where have you been eating? I’m sorry for you - this has been the very opposite of my experience!

I lived in Barcelona and Berlin before. The food was never outstanding.

The issue are fresh ingredients. Hard to come by.

Just had some amazing food yesterday here in Stockholm though.

Eaten in all but Lisbon and not struggled for decent food before. Not been to any of them for a few years, though. Sad times if standards are slipping.
