How many times do you iterate a brand strategy to get to the right right ting? I always have to iterate but still get stressed. Finally got there though. I know cos it goes from “this is good coupled with I hope they like it” to this is it The imagination book by the Pixar dude always resonates with this process

In a heated debate about which is the most reliable fruit. It is obviously the humble apple. The grape and mango may take home the the most favoured and most delicious category but for steadfast mid curve the apple has no peer.

Three obvious places to start adding value (3/3): 📢Lastly, brand itself. This is what I’m so excited about. I come from V brave brands that have built cult followings. Brands like Rinse FM, Beats by Dre, Nike, Red Bull. I really wanna bring that punk energy to DeFi and I’ve been given the buy-in to try. What our engineers have built is genuinely revolutionary but explaining it I can white noise getting louder and louder. Even degens exist IRL. I was challenged: “there’s too many factions in DeFi to speak to all of them” But I disagree. By definition - if you have a wallet you are an early adopter. Trad Fi is chart music, DeFi (and crypto at large) is the underground rave - a melting point of subcultures that value experimentation, like to be first, have great taste and in general a good sense of humour. So my intention is to play to that for as long as I can get away with it. Follow to see success or my epic failure in real time. Even better say hello if you see anything that resonates

Three obvious places to start adding value (2/3): 👫 Community: we have a successful LGE on launch last spring but since then lost momentum on building community. We have also constructed an incentive system (XP) which has become so complex that (imo) it’s led to apathy. I reckon this has been brought about by sunk cost. We’ve doubled down on the incentive program despite waning efficacy and ended up with a Frankensteins monster. IMO we need to destroy & rebuild. There is of course concern that this would dishearten airdrop hunters but I think being honesty with the community, suggesting a more elegant alternative along with a reward for everyone’s that’s earned XP to date will get buy in. And (community buy-in) is the crucial part. We can put it to a vote, it’s not that deep.

Three obvious places to start adding value (1/3): 🖥️ Website (if you’re reading this before I get to work): Reya.network doesn’t speak to what we do or why you should care. Yes we have a DEX but in essence that’s a proof of concept for Reya Network. A trading optimised network which has built a credible route to bring the $35tn of off chain flow, on-chain.
