What ideas in crypto aren't getting the attention they deserve?

Ironically, the ones that have been successful. Very little attention paid to stablecoins, core DeFi or NFTs these days. The biggest elephant in the room - it's clear >90% of the value in crypto is derived from the speculative SoV usecase, as evidenced by BTC's sustained dominance, yet BTC remains very flawed with no interest in improving it.

ive never tried to contribute to BTC but my sense is that its ossified and the community likes it that way (just look at the reaction to ordinals). perhaps anyone interested in improving it thinks its easier to implement their ideas elsewhere?

is that true? you were early to point out the dominance of USDT on Tron, but now i see a lot more attention there (e.g. coinbase very focused on usdc, @nic talks about them, ethena is innovating and getting attention, etc). maybe you think even with that its still underrated?
